As the global economy pivots toward sustainability, the green transition is no longer a question of if — but rather of who leads, who adapts, and who gets left behind.

    The trends are clear:

🔹 Record investments in solar, wind, and battery storage continue while grid bottlenecks and permitting delays are slowing deployment

🔹 Global push for standardized sustainability reporting is gaining momentum

🔹 AI is being deployed to optimize energy grids and forecast emissions

🔹 Climate tech startups are attracting capital for innovations in carbon capture, green hydrogen, and circular materials

🔹 The green transition is reshaping jobs

🔹 Countries and businesses are reconfiguring supply chains for critical minerals, batteries, and clean tech to reduce dependency on rivals

Sweden and Poland stand today as two of Europe’s most strategically aligned partners. With deepening political cooperation, rapidly expanding trade flows, and shared priorities in security, energy, innovation, and infrastructure, the relationship between our countries has never been more important — or more full of potential.

This event explores the opportunities emerging from this unique phase in Swedish‑Polish cooperation.

We will highlight the sectors where collaboration is accelerating, showcase success stories, and discuss how companies and institutions can position themselves for the next wave of growth.

As Europe undergoes profound geopolitical and economic transformation, Sweden and Poland are moving closer at a pace few could have predicted.

This growing alignment gains even more relevance when viewed through the transformation taking place in Northern Sweden.

Northern Sweden — where this event will take place - is undergoing one of the most transformative economic shifts in Europe.

The region is rapidly emerging as a hub for green industrialization, energy innovation, and technology‑driven entrepreneurship, powered by strong public–private collaboration.

The current wave of industrial expansion spans battery production, hydrogen technologies, and large‑scale electrification - positioning the north as a strategic engine of Europe’s green transition.

Northern Sweden also has one of the strongest innovation ecosystems in the Nordics, with universities, science parks, and testbeds accelerating the commercialization of new technologies, especially in energy, mining, materials, and digitalization.

These developments open new avenues for Swedish‑Polish cooperation in energy, advanced manufacturing, sustainable technologies, and talent and innovation exchange.

You are warmly invited to join us, gain insights into this momentum, and be part of what comes next.

Moderator: Sebastian Magier, Head of Foreign Trade Section, Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH).
